So, I would love to work on this, a little suggestion, make it work as a logger async API via REST(the logging part works as a microservice living on the same server), the advantages you get is scalability, and improved performance, as your code doesnt get blocked by single write ops (python is not asynchronous by default). a query that I have, how do you deduce the location? does your cameras send it? well, lot of queries, let's discuss on chat? Although your project description is not clear, I summarize few essential points and describe my plan to complete your project: 1 - Create an application in Python language. 2 - The application will integrated with existed detection part. 3 - The application will send a notice to something when a specific thing is detected. Today, I do most of python application in web-based or terminal-based (also jupyter notebook). Second, I used to manipulate MSER and relative detectors to detect an object in OpenCV, so I can help you with the step 2 to update the code. However I am not clear about the Gsheet table. I often work with csv files to create a table which contains all need information. Third, I am confused of the thing which will receive the notification. It is the most important to impact the difficulty of this project. The last thing is about time management. You don't show the limit time so I intend to do this in 10 days.
