Python script to parse CSV and create XML files

I need a Python script to parse a CSV file. Simple re-arranging of the data needs to happen + some minor corrections of the data. (Details will be given with document spec.) Then I need a Word XML document to be created from an existing Word XML document. For each record in the CSV file, a duplication of the Word XML template document to be created. I will give the template Word XML document and it will be down to the freelancer to advise on how best to create place holders for the data. This part is important! Please make sure you are OK to work with Word XML documents. There will be 2 different Word XML templates. Once work is done for the first one, then the second one should be straight forward. The code needs to be done in 2 parts. The first part is to parse the CSV data and then create a new CSV or XML document (I want advice on which is better to use). The second part is to create the XML document. Some other calculations need to be done and data inserted into 2 pages. This part is simple and straight forward - but better left to explain later.
