We are a fashion house that currently requires the services of a Product Designer specifically shoes for teenagers and [login to view URL] of the job include: Responsibilities may include: Producing sketches and sample designs Investigating appropriate materials and production processes Consulting managers about design requirements Testing product design using models, prototypes and specialist softwares such as CAD technology Clarifying and resolving design problems Correcting product faultsMaintaining awareness of current design trends and influences Key skills for the perfect product designer includes: A good eye for detail Well-developed technical and creative skills Commercial awareness of items designed IT skills including CAD Communication and interpersonal skills Requirements: Pre-entry experience gained via vacation work, industrial placements, design competitions and final-year projects is advantageous. A degree or a higher national diploma (HND) in a relevant subject such as product design, 3D design or spatial design will be an added advantage Experience is preferable for graduates of other non design related disciplines.
