Reflective Paper Objective(s): This addresses subject learning objective(s): Task: Part one A Reflection Paper Drawing upon your cumulative learning experiences this semester (group case studies, readings, class activities and discussions) you are required to assess the way in which your personal perspectives and assumptions of managing change have developed over the semester. Write a 2000-word paper on one of the following 3 topics: Reflections on the role of organisational culture in managing organisational change Reflections on the role of leadership in managing organisational change Reflections on the role of communication in managing organisational change The paper should be informed by a minimum of 8 academic sources (academic textbooks and/or academic journal articles) including 4 prescribed readings i.e. the readings that have been discussed in class. In addition, other sources can be used such as web sites, ABS data or other statistical information, media excerpts etc. A reference list must be included at the end of the paper using the Harvard style. Length: 2000 words (exclusive of references and appendices). +/- 10% is acceptable. The paper was well structured (intro, body and conclusion) and presented in a coherent and logical manner. The paper demonstrated a sound understanding of the key concepts and theories relating to managing organisational change including the relationship between the various concepts and theories. 2. The paper was clearly informed by relevant, current academic literature and other sources. A minimum of 10 academic sources including 4 prescribed readings were used. 3. The paper appropriately reflected on the key points of learning developed during the semester drawing on case studies, readings, class activities and discussions. 4. The paper was presented in a professional manner e.g. fluently written, clear paragraphing, few grammatical and spelling errors. Appropriate use of academic English. 5. 6. The paper was correctly referenced (in-text and reference list) using the Harvard style convention.
