I am looking for a designer/coder with expertise in WordPress.
The project will be designing and coding a WordPress theme and admin menu.
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced designer to design a simple/minimalistic theme for a Quotes website. This website will be a directory/reference center for quotes. The url for this site is [url removed, login to view] and like previously said, the purpose of this site is to serve as a simple resource and collection of all famous quotations.
Some of the Requirements:
The design of the site will be very clean and easy to navigate and get around. I have attached a basic of more or less how I want the layout set-up. Of you will need to add your designer skills and improve on this layout but you have an idea of the basics with the attached picture.
The biggest part of the design will be the coding setup and functionality of the site. Here are some of the things the site will need:
• The site will need like/dislike buttons for each quote.
• Each quote will be an independent post/page and will be social media friendly, allowing readers to comment on the quotes and share it via social media.
• Quotes will be ranked in order of popularity and votes and will be reflected in the most popular section on the front page.
• Quotes will be divided by category and author. When a user clicks on categories a list of all categories will appear (I have to be able to create and edit these categories via WordPress admin panel).
• When a user clicks on the author a brief description of the author will be displayed along with all his/her quotes.
• The site will be SEO friendly.
• The admin panel should allow me to edit all categories and aspects of the site so an advanced admin panel will be needed.
As previously mentioned, the design part will be easy. The work will be mostly based on coding certain parts of the website to make it work. If this something that you are experienced with please submit a bid.
