Freelancer who is a Social Media Expert / Political Pundit / Public Relations Who we are: Universal Screen Arts, Inc. is a rapidly growing multi-company retailer located in historic Hudson, OH that specializes in marketing gifts, apparel, multi-media, home decor and more direct to the consumer through our catalogs, websites, and social media. Universal Screen Arts, Inc. is looking for a Freelancer to assist in creating timely consumer products (and social media buzz) based on current political events, including Election 2016. Responsibilities include: • Staying abreast of the news, political events (including conventions and debates) and determining what occurred or what was said that will be the subject of social media discussion the following day. • Suggest concepts for t-shirt designs (and other items) that capture the essence of what people are talking about. • Communicate with our graphic design team about the phrases or quotes that are the most news worthy. • Work with the digital marketing team to initiate social media advertising campaigns based on the t-shirt designs created. • Communicate with bloggers, power Twitter and Facebook users, concerning the new designs that are available. Candidates must be: • Social media experts and will strive to get our products exposed on our own social media channels as well as others. • Obsessed with the politics and the political scene. • Understand the prior day’s news events and be able to communicate them to our team the following morning. • Have an outstanding sense of humor. • Passionate about writing, conversing and connecting with individuals who are current or future customers of Universal Screen Arts, Inc. • Understand and uses a variety of traditional and emerging media platforms – print, web, social, email and in-person – to deliver relevant information to targeted audiences.
