Using vmware workstation, would like to clone vm for speed and ease of use. Persistant tracking, some kind of unique identifier. Seems only way it works is to create 2 seperate vm with fresh install of xp. Each takes an hour, has to be faster way, since its only software. What doesn't work: Sysprep, Newsid, cryptography, machineguid,registered owner,product id,license info. Hard drive name and number don't seem to matter.
