Objective: Convert the Client’s data to Mason Tillman’s standards and create the Data Verification Report (DVR). The instructions will define the fields to be included in the cleaned dataset. A draft DVR will be submitted and Mason Tillman will review and provide feedback to finalize the DVR. The Data: Client provides a dataset extracted from their financial system. The dataset has multiple fields and contains thousands of contract records. The fields include the vendor’s name, address, payment amount, unique contract number and other data. The dataset is normalized when it is received to define each field in accordance with the fields in MTA’s MS Access application. The initial analysis called the DVR describes the data in the client’s dataset using the clients field names.
