Hi! I'm a Swedish (Native) management consultant that has been working with translations from English to Swedish and vice versa for the last 15 years as a part of my daily work. I both translate content between the languages and also write lots of own content in both languages. I am, for instance, in charge of translating the Freelancer.com page to Swedish regularly. During the last year, I have been doing a tremendous amount of translations from English to Swedish for different online services such as autodoc.se. Since I work as a consultant, I can adjust my workdays as needed and can help you out on short notice. For me, it is essential to use words that are used in people's daily language. The worst thing is when you see translations where the translator uses complex words that no one uses in everyday talk. It should be easy to read and have a nice flow. Hello, I am born and raised in Sweden and was taught english, swedish and chinese since 5 (so I am fluent), and have a lot of writing experience. My day job is a laboratory engineer and worked within academia. Due to the current situation I also have a lot of free time that I would like to spend on making some money. I do a lot of editing, translations and writing. Do consider me as I learn fast, am organized and type quick. A strong work ethic as I strive for perfection more or less. I am outgoing, ambitious and goal-oriented. I was born in Norway and moved to Sweden when I was 12 so I speak and write both Swedish and English fluent. I’ve always had an good ear for languages and can speak and write English very well too. I've worked in online customer service before and have also worked in Greece where I talked english everyday with my co-workers, so I’m very comfortable with my english.
