I am looking for Vmware consultant/architect to help me with hardware selection to build a new DESKTOP and help me optimize Vmware Workstation.
(A Vmware specialist in a forum also told me I could have the Vmware data be on larger disks, and the image files and linked Vm's to be run on SSD drive.)
After our discussions we may or may not determine if any remote assistance may be needed in the project.
Also he suggested The Vmware files to run on parallel drives (mirror data). I also assume from my limited online research that OperatingSystem should be set up on a separate SSD drive, and Vmware separate from O/S. .
SUMMARY of PROJECT: To help Build a DESKTOP to be used mainly for Vmware Workstation environment, Need to be able to run SMOOTHLY without freezes/lags with multiple running Virtual XP environments, in desktop PC.
More details will be provided in private.
Total project hrs that you will spend should probably be anything from 4 to 10 hrs, depending on your experience, also depending on the speed of our communication (by skype, teamviewer, etc).
*** I will give preference to people who have ample experience in Virtual environments, specifically Vmware, and/or in Security and performance optimizations of computer systems. Distributed and parallel processing.
