Specs for two Excel-like Slicer Controls

You – a technical product manager – are going to write a technical specification for 2 Excel-like Slicer Controls. It is assumed herein that charting, data visualizations and business intelligence are topics of deep familiarity for you. Otherwise, the quality of your work will not be sufficient to complete this write-up successfully. You will need to write the specs for these two visualizations found in Excel 2013: - Excel 2013 Timeline - Excel 2013 Slicer The rest of the instructions be found in the attached PBI Chart Specification Template file. Note that the template refers to D3.js visualizations. But in this case the reference is not D3.js but Excel 2013. Your job is to recreate the spec for those controls. You must have access to Excel 2013 to use as a reference. The spec must allow recreating the the same experience Excel provides. You should assume that the implementer using your spec will use javascript & D3.js to implement these controls. I am also attaching a complete spec for a bullet chart visualization for reference. Each spec requires about 3 pages of write-up. Expected completion time - two days for both.
