Job Description Looking for experienced Appointment Setters! Garment Machinery Company, Inc. is a leading provider of commercial laundry equipment and services here in New England. We are looking for motivated, organized and experienced Cold Caller/Appointment Setter to join our team and sell our services directly to businesses. As a Cold Caller/Appointment Setter you must have prior phone sales experience and be comfortable making 100+ outbound calls per day. You will be expected to reach out to prospective industry related businesses via the telephone to arrange appointments for a local sales representative who would then conduct an in-person appointment. This is a Part Time and Full time position, hourly wages with commissions and bonuses based on production. Required Skills: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF OUTBOUND APPOINTMENT SETTING EXPERIENCE TO APPLY FOR THIS JOB. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE. • Cold Calling (Entry level is accepted) - The ability to make calls to prospects and start up a conversations with decision makers on the first contact. • Listening Comprehension (Strong/Advanced Level) - The ability to listen and retain information from conversations and develop an understanding of what's been said • Persuasiveness (Strong/Advanced Level) • Phone Sales (Entry level is accepted) - Ability to present business opportunities to potential customers over the telephone • Data Entry - entry of data to list any appointments made throughout the day Education & Experience: • High school Diploma • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment • Ability to communicate complex ideas quickly and in a compelling way • Strong problem solving skills • Excellent time management/organizational skills Requirements: • Able to work Part Time (8am until 12 noon, or 12 noon until 3pm) or Fulltime M-F (8-5) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
