Bridge Animations

The project requirements are to design four colorful and interesting animations suitable for posting on youtube and a website. One video would illustrate the formation of ESOL from salt and water as seen on [login to view URL] We would be looking a more exciting, colorful version of this simple power point. At some point in the middle we would want a close up of the various molecules splitting. [login to view URL] The second video would similarly illustrate our second technology, what we call CRS (membrane CDI on wikipedia), the process can be found here. [login to view URL]:[login to view URL] Again just an exciting, colorful video is what we want showing the adsorb phase (what we call "production phase") and the desorb phase (what we call "regeneration phase") of membrane CDI. The third video will show the five stages of biofilm buildup [login to view URL]:[login to view URL] . This, in the same video, will be compared to biofilm trying to build up with our ESOL disinfectant dosed into the water (perhaps in a split screen, perhaps one after the other). The animation with ESOL will be unable to get past stage, illustrating the effectiveness of ESOL in preventing biofilm buildup. The last video would demonstrate how ESOL destroys a single pathogen cell, with a video animating the following scientific passage: "The high lipid content outer membrane and cell membrane bacterial structures are likely to be the primary ESOL target. ESOL is thought to sequester electrons from these structures, rendering them unstable, potentially allowing oxidants to penetrate into the cell cytoplasm, causing widespread oxidation and the inactivation of essential cellular processes." The animator will have creative licence to animate these processes. None of the videos will probably need to be longer than 1 minute. Each video should end with the Bridge Biotechnology logo which will be provided.
