This is a small project to change a standard rc car transmitter and receiver. need to get rid of the 4.8 volt battery and add a voltage regulator to handle a 12volt power supply with a toggle switch with a 1 second beeper when power is on. then on the transmitter I want to only have the throttle, trim for the throttle, on/off switch change the battery to AAA or AA and get rid of the rest of the functions the transmitter will only be running a single servo. Also design a new housing to fit in the hands differently. The unit will be used in cold weather operations up to -25c and must be water resistant. I have added some rough drawings of the housing to be designed, and the servo, receiver and transmitter I used in the first prototype that worked very well.
