The project is to create a 3D model and rendering of a *very futuristic* looking storage cart with the following requirements:
- Must have at least 1 square foot and no more than 2 square feet of work surface at a height no lower than 36 inches from the ground and no higher than 48 inches from the ground (this could be an articulating surface, static, slide-out, flip out, flip down, etc)
-Must have a drawer or storage space capable of housing a 70 lb box [31x40x55 cm] with a flip open top that must be accessible for operation.
-Must have shelf or storage space capable of housing no less than 3 metal boxes, each weighing approximately ten pounds with dimensions [12"x15"x8"] - this can be achieved through separate shelves or a single shelf with space and strength to hold all the boxes in a single stack.
-Must incorporate at least two screens - one the size of a Samsung Galaxy S Tab 2 8" and one the size of an Acer T232 23" touchscreen [extra bonus points if you can find a way to make the screens both disappear/press flat into the woodwork/side panels/structure of the cart AND be able to come out on an articulating arm]
-Must incorporate space to hang no less than 6 separate cords of lengths varying between 3 and 8 feet.
-Must incorporate a power strip providing no less than 8 plugs but completely hidden from sight of anyone but the operator of the cart
The look of the whole thing should be CLEAN and uncluttered despite all the equipment it will be carrying.
Attached is a photo of a previous cart project with fewer constraints, which the project leader deemed acceptable. The project leader also loves the look of the surgical suite in the movie Prometheus () - so if you can design something that looks like it belongs in that movie scene, then you're the right person for the job.
