As I understand, the task is only to change the thread size and to make drawings of 3 parts: male, female and cable holder? With some minor changes may be. At first fluent look there is not much to design left. No problem to do it. Files will be in SolidWorks 2011 version, is it OK? I've noticed your files are from some older version. Moreover, You need technical drawings of part connection method or details of the assembly? In the end, You need a material check, if the construction can get any lighter. We can provide the modifications and the drawings wont be a problem, even better if You could provide us with some regulations or technical details of similar concepts. For the lighter construction we could do a FEA, but it would be more accurate if you could predict the loads it should withstand.
