Hi, I am trying to submit plans for a 3rd story renovation of my house. We will be removing the entire roof and building a 3rd story addition. I have reached my limit to do the plans myself. I have made pretty complete construction drawings, including a full 3D model in sketchup. The local building inspector claims they are "design drawings" and not construction drawings... Meaning that i guess the framing plans are not complete to his specifications. I'm looking to have someone review all of my material and complete full set of drawings for this project. I have : 3d model in sketchup including property and existing building 2d plans in sketchup of rooms 3d Model in sketchup of 2D model of what i thought would be the roof framing. NEED: Full set of plans. - FUll in-titleblock, scaled drawings - Proposed overlayed over existing - Roof framing (i have this started?) - All fasteners and all const methods called out - You tell me ! (i'm an interior designer and sometime do full drawings bu this is beyond my usual scope) I have this fairly complete set. looking for someone to pull it all together into a more professional looking package, for a full set of plans for building officials to review.
