I am an Australian journalist looking for a well-priced transcription expert to transcribe interviews. The chosen candidate will speak and write fluent English, be a fast and accurate typer, be able to turn around interviews in about 48 hours and understand the Aussie accent. Generally I can give you 24 hours notice that an interview will need to be transcribed, then I will give you a 48 hour deadline after you receive the audio file. I look forward to hearing from suitable candidates.

I am a London trained transcriber and proofreader currently based in South Africa. My rate is USD50 per audio hour. I have worked as a full time freelancer from home mainly for UK companies for the last three years transcribing a wide variety of different projects, these include financial reporting, TV and radio shows, focus groups, one on one interviews, Court transcripts, plus lots more. One hour of audio would take me approximately three hours, depending of course on the quality. I am, of course, happy to provide a test file.
