We use Microsoft Teams transcription to record the minutes of all Disciplinary, Grievance, Flexible Working meetings etc and get a fairly accurate record of the meeting - however, whilst we don't need it to be verbatim, we do need it be as accurate as possible. Teams transcription does unfortunately get words incorrect, particularly where people are talking over each other or using technical language. Our HR Admin team usually checks through these minutes to make them more accurate where possible, however, we are currently a person down and realise this is not always the best use of the HRA Support team! The freelancer will need to: Read the transcript through to ensure it makes sense (this does require a good English speaker) Identify any words that appear to be incorrect and determine if they change the overall meaning of what someone is saying If yes, listen the recording and change that word or wording We'd like someone who can do this for us on an ad hoc basis - the meetings warranting minutes are a bit like buses and several will always come along at once - accurately and quickly (within 48 hrs)! Any individual supporting this project would be required to have a minimum typing speed of 70 words per minute.

I have worked in different fields during my career, building up a useful cross-section of experience in the process. I was involved with the 35mm Oelicon upgrading of the gun projects (Datar purification) while working in the SADF at 4 Electronic Workshop in Cape town, not long after entering the job market.
