Translators or Transcribers required - Turkish & English language

Our team is looking for new freelance translators and transcribers in Bengaluru to collaborate with for our ongoing and future projects. Responsibilities: ▰ Reads through or listens to material in one language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaning. ▰ Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and understanding. ▰ Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialised concepts and translate them appropriately. ▰ Translate a variety of documents including literary, legal, research, technical, scientific and commercial materials. ▰ Follow various translation-quality standards to ensure legal and ethical obligations to the customer. Qualifications: ▰ Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role. ▰ Fluency in Turkish & English Languages. ▰ Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors. ▰ Good knowledge of content editing tools. ▰ Written and verbal communication, understanding of grammar. ▰ Interpersonal communication, accuracy, attention to detail, software proficiency. ▰ Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus.
