Update paths on a vectored SVG file

We use an XY plotting machine that recreates the paths on the attached SVG file. We insert a pen into the machine and this machine will actually hand write a note using a pen :) There are two problems with this SVG file: 1) Many of the letters/words do not look clear. They are really sloppy. The way this SVG file was made was first actually handwriting a letter and then scanning it. After scanning, it was ran through a centerline vector conversion program to generate this SVG. Many of the letters look really bad. So the overall writing needs to be updated to look correct. YES, the handwriting is horrible :) that is my writing :) The first few lines I worked on and feel happy with how they look. Please try to keep consistent with that. 2) The biggest problem has to do with the number of paths. Since this is a hand writing machine, the pen picks up off the paper to go to the start of a path, puts the pen down, than follows the path to the end. Then it picks the pen up, moves to the start of the next path, then puts the pen back down to follow that path. The problem is this is very slow. If we can create several letters or even whole words using a single path, it is like 50x faster to write the letter than to create a single word using 20 separate paths due to the pen coming up and going back down so many times. So the words need to be recreated, merged, and updated so that they use only 1 path per word. Of course, some words will require more than 1 path such as the letter T or the dot on an "i". The actual file that needs updating is attached ("Edited Letter - [login to view URL]"). As mentioned, the first few lines I've already updated but the rest of the letter needs to be updated and fixed.
