I am looking for the exact dataset being used in a econometric study from 2005 by Bernanke et al. The dataset consists of monthly observations of 120 variables and the sample period is 1959-2001. Please look at appendix 1 in the attached paper where a complete list of the variables is located. It should be possible to find a complete version of this dataset online. Once found, I will like the dataset in an excel format with different variables along the columns (horizontally) and time observations along the rows (vertically).
It is important that the dataset is identical to the original dataset. I DON’T want you to compile data from different sources. I WANT you to find the original dataset. I know that collections of replication files (codes in e.g. matlab for replicating the study) and this dataset exist and it is your task to find it. Ideally, you also find the replication files for me, but the dataset is the most important thing.
