I am looking for a long term committed freelancer for a web scraping project. Please only apply if you are willing to do a free pilot project for proof of concept, I need to test your skills and should be able to assess you before giving you the project. Pilot project will be for 3,000 skus for the 4 web sites. There are 2 (or 3) phases of this project: 1st phase develop the scraper. I need a time and total cost estimate for this. You can develop the scraper in PHP or Python or Javacript. The source code should be clean, concise and well documented. You will give the source code to me. 2nd phase is weekly (during weekends) running the scraper, follow the process, maintain if necessary and deliver the report by Sunday 16:00 GMT. Total of 105,000 skus (items), from 9 web sites, will get: Manufacturer Part Number, Web Site's unique number (ASIN for [login to view URL]), Name of the product, Page full URL, Manufacturer Name, Price, Availability, Seller Name (for marketplaces) - the detailed output excel file will be provided but these are the main columns. I will provide 105,000 skus Manufacturer Part Numbers and URLs of the web sites. Optional 3rd phase is to track these skus on a real time basis and when there is a change in Price (and Availability) update the change and send an alert to an email address. Please tell me you hourly rate, minimum and maximum hours/week you can commit on this project.
