Logo required for Luxury Tile Company

We have a new client that sells Luxury Kitchen and Bathroom Tiles similar to the one attached to this project.
We need a simple, classy and slick logo which gives a modern contemporary feel.
No clip art please, no world maps and no stars please.
One idea we had was possibly a nice font alongside 3/4 squares with some nice detailing?
We will leave the creative stuff to you.
SAMPLES MUST BE PROVIDED - please dont waste our time submitting a bid if you cant provide a sample.

The name of the company is in the attached text file along with an example of the kind of products he sells.
The website we are designing will be black/dark grey so maybe a silver type logo would work well - dont let that stop you from being creative if you think something else will look better.
