This is a completely new website. We have already reserved several domain names for this project but we do not currently have a logo or graphic design for the site so this will also need to be done.

Key points on the funcitionality of the site we want to create are:

- The website needs to be easy for the customer to use and easy for us as the administrator to update, add products and maintain;

- The navigation needs to be simple ( intuative / logical);

- The site needs to be high impact, engaging, modern, up to date and have a fun element that will appeal to children and adults (possible a graphical animation);

- need to ensure site functionality can cater for ipad, iphone, smart phone user etc;

- secure site for online payment, receipt provision etc;

- loading and updating of product listed on multiple pages needs to be able to be done across the site through one simple change, not multiple changes;

- search engine optimised - google, bing, etc

- recording / tally system that will enable a portion of purchases to be apportioned on a school by school basis and a running total displayed for each school to create an element of competition between schools;

- maximum flexibilty with product ordering from a school list - for example to be able to nominate that the person wants all items on the list for a particular school and year level or alternatively just select specific items they may require from the list of products;

- ability to save order and return to complete order if necessary;

- ability to do multiple orders for multiple students (kids) or order other specific items from the online store before needing to provide payment;

- ability to capture customer and student information and all relevant contact details;

- need to have links to facebook etc

- we want provision to order from specific booklists and also the ability for customers (not necessarily school clients but business or home office clients) to shop for other items from a central online store. One of the existing sites we like as a good example is [login to view URL]

We would like to work with someone who can bring more ideas on the sites development than what we have provided here. We envisage that this site will cater for a large regional centre with approx 20 schools. We want a site that will enable us to capture as much of the local market as possible. We need something that will give this site a point of difference.
