We have a WordPress website (finished but for a working shopping cart) that is partly dedicated to selling physical books and related "downloads" (like worksheets/templates) to book retailers, institutions and organizations that may or may not be tax exempt, and companies that may use the books internally for staff or their customers (not for resale). So the orders section needs to showcase the goods (images and descriptions of books, like can be seen on Amazon Kindle), then take the visitor/buyer to a shopping cart where they enter purchasing and shipping information and upload "tax exemption" documents if they so qualify, to then submit the order to our company to fulfill. (Retail sales to consumers are handled by book stores and online retailers like Amazon Kindle.) Some of the items for sale on our website (the publisher) are packs of "digital downloads" (Word/Excel) worksheets/templates so the shopping cart needs to be able to deliver the download upon completing the sale. The attachment is a mockup of our idea of how the books and downloads might be showcased. An experienced WP designer may have a better idea and a better process for the shopping cart. This project needs to be done without delay as the books have gone on sale and buyers will be looking to purchase downloads very soon.
