We’re searching for a PHP/MySQL/AJAX programmer capable of executing technical aspects of a Social Change Project Based website housed in Joomla. Potential components currently planned are a robust CCK (e.g. Cobalt, Seblod, or other), a social community component (e.g JomSocial, EasySocial or other), other miscellaneous required components. If you have verifiable component development history, we’re open for dialog.
Synopsis: site visitors will be able to Post Projects on a local, state, national or global level, and invite others to join in and bring it to fruition. Project Tracking will therefore be a very high priority, (similar to a ‘ProjectFork’ interface but with a robust & extendable front end). The User Profile will also be high priority, able to track projects, communicate with project (or other) members, link up to social media, etc. Knowledge of ACL would be a plus, as would awareness of current Security best practices. Viewport control (responsiveness) essential. Versioning not required, but welcomed.
Aside from demonstrable experience, applicant must be a team player and have good command of English.
Wireframes, mock-ups, timelines & details will be provided after passing first interview.
