Secured and safe School Bus tracking System based on RFID/ NFC, GPS, GPRS

WHAT IS OUR GOAL : Safe, secure and verified school bus transportation School bus route tracking and live real time data transmission through GPRS, GPS and NFC/ RFID cards Automated tracking of students boarding and exiting from the school bus and SMS alerts to parents Covers all contingencies in student pick-up and drop facility. and live tracking to the school bus route by both parents and school admins. How does the System Work?  The School Bus tracking system gives real time information about students and vehicles to parents as well as the school management. The school bus, equipped with a GPS enabled android Tablet and Radio-frequency identification (RFID) Reader, the tablet have developed android app the show the route to the bus driver through Google maps with other important features ,each student have a smart tag , RFID reader will scan the student tag and pass it to the a android tablet by Bluetooth or USB or the tablet will be built-in RFID reader or using NFC ,the tablet will display the student name and image with beep sound confirming that the student tag is identified correctly, the tablet will transfer this message to the system server (Students IDs) , the server will update the student status in attendance report and send push notification message and SMS to the student parent.  Also the system can be without tablet installed in school bus, we can use GPS, GPRS, RFID reader module that can scan the student tag and send the information along with bus location to the server. Technology requirements: • For web portal/ Back end: - Spring MVC, Spring Services, Spring data, Spring Security, Hibernate and MySQL - Bootstrap for design and jQuery for UX -must be responsive design • For Mobile Application on the BUS tablet - Android native app. • For Mobile Apps: - Android native app. For android devices - Swift for IOS devices (supporting iPhone, iPhone +, and iPad) the source code must be delivered with full documentation for it for all the project.
