Web based canoe session/kit booking system (possibly php/mysql)

I need a responsive/mobile device friendly booking website for my canoe club.

Fancy presentation is less important, this is all about the booking system to pick from a list of canoe sessions and select a boat from our equipment list.

Features-

Admin page-

1) add a session with a date/time eg- Canoe beginners (5 places) 6pm Mon 5th Sept, Canoe instructor (10 places)

2) add equipment eg- boat 1 (red canoe), boat 2 (green canoe), boat 4 (single green boat)

3) View bookings

Public page -

1) book a single or multiple places (Name, email address)

2) pick from "I don't need a boat" or any kit from the list - (this would match above, 1 person booking =1 boat)

To give you an idea of what I want to achieve I have done a few test pages but I know very little of web design and it looks awful on mobile device. I'm looking for something that does this sort of thing-

PADDLERS - [login to view URL]

I've got a vague understanding of database stuff, so the admin side can be via phpadmin or a management system or whatever.

I don't really to get tied into something like wix or an expensive hosting package that I can't get away from. My test site is hosted on apache/php/mysql on a virtual server costing $4/month but I'm not totally stuck with this.

I hope this makes sense, thanks. I've put this on as a simple project, if you know this sort of stuff I'd think you could get me a working solution in no time at all. (Maybe)
