Website Guidance and Startup

Hi there, My name is Michael, Firstly, I have no background in business or web design or anything relevant to my project. This is my very first attempt at an online following/business. I have always had a passion for fitness and nutrition and I've always tried to keep the nutrition aspect of fitness as simple as possible. I am starting an online nutrition blog. I Hope to grow it into an online store in addition to the blog down the road but the problem is that I simply have no clue what I'm doing. I've been spending the last 2 weeks doing research on affiliate marketing and online business but I could really use an experienced entrepreneur or someone with experience setting up an online business to help teach me and lead me and my site in the right direction to get me on my feet. I have enough extra income to feed my business until it can start to bring in some income and feed itself. I don't know how to generate traffic to a website. Once I do eventually get traffic to my website, I don't know how to turn that in to a profit. I could use a dedicated quality content writer to help me deliver solid information to the audience. My main content focuses will be: Nutrition advice to help bodybuilders, power lifters, and skinny guys more easily increase their caloric intake to increase their muscle mass and strength in the healthiest and most efficient way possible. Fitness and exercise tips, techniques, and workouts to take advantage of their calorie-rich diet to achieve maximum increases in strength and muscle mass. Meal preparation - sharing ideas for meal prep to fit every-day schedules and keep time in the kitchen preparing food to a minimum. Down the road: I hope, in the future, to provide a product in the form of easy to prepare meals, perhaps in a similar manner to Weight Watchers, but instead of keeping calories low, we're keeping their numbers simple but keeping them as high as possible while also keeping the options healthy. Perhaps subscription-based. Charity/Humanitarian Work - I want to eventually work with organizations that help feed those in need here in the states as well as those in impoverished countries by setting up a system which donates a small portion of each purchase. I realize this probably is missing aspects that you may need, but, like I said, I have no idea what I'm doing, I just really want to make this idea work and I think this site can really help me.
