DDE NETWORK (NETDDE)(repost)

I have an application on one computer which sends off dynamic data by DDE to an Excel document. In addition, the Excel sends off dynamic data by DDE too. The data from Excel is then collected by a third application for storage. The excel is contains macros and is the 2007 version. These all work well on this one computer. I have been trying with the aid of computer geeks to share the excel on a network so that another instance of the storage application can access the dynamic data on excel. Wheras the two computers have been successfully linked via Ethernet cable and both now share the wireless internet on one of the computers, we have been unsuccessful to receive data from the Excel on the first computer. We have followed microsoft guides including: [login to view URL] still, we have not been able to either access the data from the DDE-shared excel from an excel document on he second computer or access it with a copy of the application that is accessing it on the same computer. The Excel is version 2007 on both computers and both computers are running windows xp 2002 service pack 3. When we check services under administrative tools in the control panel, all the NETDDE are set to automatic and during these efforts, did show as started. So I require someone with consummate experience in sorting out such problems to sort things out. I expect the bidder to be able to login by logmein and sort this out as soon as possible. This probably requires a confident a pro. If you are sure of your self and have experience in networking by DDE on windows xp and the use of Excell for such, then apply.
