I lead the public relations at Human Interest, a modern and online 401(k) startup, and we are in the process of building our CEO's thought leadership platform.
Our 401(k) software is aimed at helping HR teams administer and manage the 401(k) benefit for the company and its employees, and we specifically cater towards small businesses and startups. Our website has extensive blog posts that showcase our company's voice. Even though our product and expertise needs to intersect with financial and 401(k) writing/knowledge, we are aiming to take financial jargon and simplify it. (The finance industry has been known to keep wording complex and intimidating to confuse individuals and make them feel like they need to hire expensive financial advisors.) Our belief is that there is a way to translate 401(k)s and retirement planning to small business owners, HR professionals, and their employees in a way that is simple, digestible, and approachable (empowering them to feel confident in making their own financial and investment decisions.)
We have a couple of opportunities that we are working on for outlets such as TLNT, HR Technologist, Small Biz Technology and we're looking to keep expanding.
