Client required a custom quoting tool and dashboard for their Salesforce customer portal. The quoting tool existed in Excel and the logic had to be ported over to Salesforce in a custom APEX/Visualforce application exposed to their customer portal users.

The UI was completely customized using CSS for look/feel and javascript/jQuery for client-side actions. Javascript remoting and APEX remote actions were used to facilitate asynchronous calls to the Salesforce data layer.

This allowed quotes to be generated directly by their customers and freed up their internal sales reps to close more deals faster by removing them from the tedious task of having to generate quotes manually.

My client needed a page to view all his booking for each month. At the same time his app couldn't pass security review.

I created a booking calendar with search options: country/state, account, number of guests, property family and etc. Also I fixed security and quality issues to pass security review.

Client's app successfully passed the review!
