To Whom It May Concern: I have had over 15 years experience in progressively more responsible positions in the software industry focusing on Java for the last 8 years and feel I would bring a diverse and high-level background to any company. My experiences include gathering requirements, working across divisional and company boundaries, driving engineering teams, evaluation and acquisition of technologies and architecture of complex systems. I have led engineering teams and cross-functional groups in delivering projects on time and on budget with Six-Sigma, ISO 9000 and Total Quality Metrics.. Milestones, deliverables, schedules and project management drive me. I have had experience in working the technical aspects of marketing and business relationships including experience gathering requirements, negotiating contracts and driving technical marketing. I have had numerous technical presentations and papers, both internal and external and across divisional boundaries. My technical skills include a deep understanding of development languages and platforms including Java since its introduction, C, C++, Pascal, Perl, Lisp, Prolog, Forth, etc. I am experienced in structured analysis and design as well as Object Oriented methodologies such as UML. I have written many technical white papers, specifications, and presentations. I have functioned as an architect on systems ranging from client-server, to n-tiered distributed systems. I have applied these skills to various projects from embedded real-time solutions to applications development. I have worked with all aspects of Web technologies for both Intranet and Internet solutions. These experiences range on a number of platforms including Mainframes, Unix, Windows, and RTOS's.
