I also have enough knowledge of the identification and extraction of biomarkers from an EEG dataset. aimed to classify motor imagery patterns for BCI control of wheelchairs using different machine learning algorithms.

Effective Connectivity for Decoding Electroencephalographic Motor Imagery Using a PNN

MDPI Sensors

This study used effective connectivity in the brain in terms of the partial directed coherence and directed transfer function as intensively unconventional feature sets for motor imagery classification. MANOVA-based analysis was performed to identify statistically significant connectivity pairs. Also, study predicted MI patterns by using SVM, KNN, decision tree, and PNN. The study provides a comparison of classification methods using 2-class MI data extracted from the PhysioNet database.

Brain Controlled Wheelchair: A Smart Prototype

This paper focuses on the development of the brain controlled wheelchair with two additional interfaces including joystick and a remote control through an android phone. All three controls are integrated in such a way that it allows the user to change the mode of control by simply changing the state of the slide switch. This work utilizes the Neurosky Mindwave Mobile headset to capture the EEG signals. Eye blinks and attention levels are extracted and identified through an android application.
