Paul Cockburn has long been regarded as one of South Africa’s foremost communicators and writers. His has had extensive involvement with commerce and government, and his experience ranges from writing emotive speeches (for Mandela and Ramaphosa) to the creation of compelling advertising; from the editing of official documents (Treasury and other state departments) to inventing catchy slogans for social media. The author of five books, (one novel), and the winner of numerous domestic and international awards, he spent over 7 years as an executive Creative Director of Ogilvy-Mather, and thereafter some 25 years as Producer/Director of TV commercials.
