I am an HR Advisor for a Office Supplies Company in Sydney, Australia.
In my role I deal with various aspects of business such as data entry, email management, recruitment, payroll, providing HR advise to managers, employment law, industrial relations, compliance, HR policies and procedures and general HR employment issues.
In the recruitment area I regularly:
- Draft adverts
- Shortlist and review CV's and cover letters
- interview potential candidates
- prepare employment documentation
- onboard and induction of new employees
In the payroll area I regularly:
- run end to end payroll
- data entry ensuring accuracy and speed
- excel spreadsheet management and calculations
In the HR area I regularly:
- provide advise to managers in relation to people issues
- performance management/industrial relation matters
- Reward and Recognition processes
- Partner with management to succession plan
I also hold the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources Management (BBus HRM)
- New Zealand Diploma in Business
- Diploma in Human Resources
- New Zealand Institute of Management Certificate in Management
These qualifications have given me skills in areas such as Accounting, Employment law, computing and Microsoft office, Marketing, organisations and management and Leadership.
