Using VHPIDIRECT and the ghdl simulator I was able to add some more realistic stimulus to my VHDL simulations, like a virtual com port (RS232).

GHDL VHPIDIRECT

$The hardware was made with a pic12f675 using only 2 ADC channels.\\n\\nThe host program was made in Python + pygtk. When the host program start send an identify command to the device, then the device respond with the name plus the number of ADC channes. With that information the GUI is configured.\\n\\nWhen click on Run/Stop the host program ask for lectures at a defined rate in a config file.$

2.- Add the stock and the location of the product in the POS terminal.
