I am a GIS and remote sensing specialist with a 4 year BSc(Hons) degree specialising in this area. I have won numerous awards and scholarships for excellence in this field. I am an expert user of several commercial GIS packages (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro) as well as QGIS. Additionally, I am well versed in Python programming, SQL, R and JavaScript. I am a keen user of Open Source software, an have much experience working with many Python packages such as GDAL, PDAL, OpenCV etc. I have conducted much of my research work in UAV (drone) remote sensing, and as such have strong experience in this area. This includes image analysis and classification of multi and hyperspectral image data, as well as the processing of photogrammetric data sets to produce orthomosaics, 3D terrain models (DEM, DSM, DTM) and 3D point clouds. I also have a strong foundation in surveying and GNSS (GPS), to ensure spatial data can meet spatial accuracy requirements.
