This is an excel based solution to calculate the hours worked in different time spans by an employee when you simply enter the time-in and time-out. Sheet will automatically divide the hours worked in to day time/ night time/ Sat/ Sun/ Public day. Also this can be set up to calculate overtime based on your requirement (e.g. above 38 hours per week, above 10 hours per shift continuous work).

If we apply different wage rates applicable to each time span, then we can get the wage per day/ per week automatically per employee.
