I am a Maternal Family Health nurse. I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing. In my MFH work I provide parenting education, prenatal education, breastfeeding teaching and support (because I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor), child development teaching, life course development, prevention of child abuse. I am a member of a Child Protection Team and Sexual Assault Response Team. I am trained in all the areas mentioned above for my work. I also produced and manage a website for the office I work in. I also moonlight as a travel nurse on some weekends to maintain my hospital skills. I teach aerobics and conditioning classes. I love to run in road races, read, quilt, and weightlift(with any extra time I have). I enjoy doing research and everything I teach to my clients is evidence-based. I am motivated and love to take on new challenges.
