This paper is about basic elements, goals, assumptions and achievements in the development of reporting system in commercial banks. Attention is given to the ways of achieving quality of software that are integrated with business process which is the subject of automation. There is a breef presentation of accounting system and possibilities for its computerization. Business process is seen as a central point of development and serves as a link for all artiracts that emerges during development.

This paper is about ebXML set of specifications for e-business and its components. The primary focus of discussion is ebXML Registry and Repository, the component of the specifications set which enables saving, classifying, searching and publishing ebXML core components, as well as other structured and non-structured content. Last part of this paper gives a brief description of freebXML open – source initiative which is to emancipate e-business and ebXML, especially among MSE.
