Expert in Matlab programming, applied to Quantitative Finance (Trading Systems, Valuation), Statistical Signal Processing (Wireless, Defense, Telecom), and Image Processing (Medical/CT Imaging, Industrial NDT, Aerospace). While I prefer to work in Matlab, I've worked with many other languages/platforms/data feeds, and can integrate other systems with Matlab where there's an advantage. I've created C/C++ .mex file DLL's for Matlab, sophisticated Matlab GUI applications, and of course written thousands of .m files. I optimize my Matlab code by vectorizing and thinking in multiple dimensions, but not beyond the point of readability. I know the platform well and sometimes can get it to do things that others can't. I hold graduate/bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering, a bachelor's degree in Economics, and I am a CAIA charterholder. I'm located in Southern California. For clients located within 2 hours, I can drive to meet you (sometimes same day, schedule permitting) and only charge $50 for the initial consultation. I'm also happy to work remotely. I'm a US Citizen and have held a security clearance, though it is no longer active.
