Vede la realizzazione di un’illustrazione raffigurante la leggenda giapponese di Okiku, servitrice di HosokawaKatsumoto.
Dopo essere stata accusata di furto, dopo essere stata umiliata, violentata e torturata, venne uccisa e poi gettata nel pozzo del castello.
Da quel momento alle tre in puntolo yūrei di Okiku usciva dal pozzo, contava da uno a nove e poi scoppiava in singhiozzi, lamenti e grida.
L’illustrazione vede una forma più “inquietante“ della leggenda, dove la donna si vendica dei suoi carnefici.
