Requirement was for a easy to use spreadsheet to calculate equities indexes with the ability to show fair value for the forward cash index as well as the fair future value based on a forward date as you would find in a futures contract. Stocks also individually calculated with carry ... Felt comfortable moving ahead as he was able to present the requirement back to me demonstrating that there would be no issues with the deliverable. This removed any concerns with him being new on the platform.
