·Sep ’03 [login to view URL]: - Worked as Software Developer. Developed a web-application to set-up entry forms, enter data collected through an interview and generate reports using ASP, VBScript, JavaScript and SQL Server. Also, developed Online Benchmarking Survey and generated reports which were sent to the user on completion of the survey. I was also responsible for providing level one support.

·Dec ’02 Tulip IT Services Ltd.: - I was a Business Executive and my role here was to analyze the customer requirements, design a networking solution and then sell these to the clients. The job included writing up sales proposals, making customer calls (over the phone and in person) besides other office jobs.
·May ’02 Next Generation Business Power Systems Ltd: - I was a part of a team developing an Employee Management System using Oracle and Visual Basic.
·May ’01 Next Generation Business Power Systems Ltd.: - The aim of this training was to familiarize with the roles and functions the various members of a Software Development Team and also to understand the various facets of the SE process.
·May’99 Roofers Combine: - I developed a simple utility called the Wage Calculator which helped to calculate the monthly wages of workers who were paid on the basis of the number of days worked. This utility was developed in Access.

·Communication Networks: Threats and Security, this paper discusses pervasiveness of Communication Networks in today’s world and describes the various threats that information and devices on this network faces and from whom; need for security; and measures to prevent a security breach.
Projects
·Developed of a web application [login to view URL] for the Members of Parliament, which provided them news and demographic information and a personal digital assistant with facilities, like mail, scheduler. The site was made using ASP for the front end and data manipulation and Access 2000 as the backend.
·Developed an Automated Information Management System for the Placement Committee at Instituteof Management Technology, using Visual Basic and Access 2000. This utility was extensively used by the Placement Cell to maintain and access a database of over a thousand companies that was previously on paper and hard to access.
·Developed Student Information and Management System, using Oracle 8i, Forms6i and Reports6i. This system helped students keep track of their grades, class schedule, attendance, upcoming assignments and tests. This also allowed students to put up notices and requests using a common notice board. This helped reduce a lot of paper work and students were well informed even when the school was closed.
·Developed a ‘Chat Program’ with Client-Server architecture using Java. TCP connections where used to send messages from the server to the clients and UDP connections for client to server communication. The server had a data structure to keep track of the currently active clients.
·Designed and Implemented of A UML Design Tool with C++ Code Generator using an Object-oriented approach. This tool was developed using MFC and VC++ and it helped save a time and effort as one can generate skeleton code in C++ by just drawing the class diagram in this tool.
·System Analysis & Design of Inventory Management System for Roofer’s Combine Pvt. (Ind.) Ltd.The implementations of the recommendations made helped the company save on its inventory cost.
·Implemented the ‘Go-Back-N’, Transport layer protocol.
·Developed Graphics Design Tool using OpenGL and Win32 programming.
