⬧ Mozambique [Maputo] Port/ Cape Town Port: Created a windows application – developed on the .net framework
utilising a SQL database – that manages weighbridge and commodities and controls all incoming and outgoing
traffic to the port.
⬧ Cape Town [DRA – KROPZ]: Created a Fully Automated solution to control access to the site, capture truck
weights, calculate load volume, check vehicle axle and overload weight (ensuring vehicles adhere to the Road
Traffic Act) and to target fraud prevention by eliminating user intervention.
⬧ Software application [Shipweigh R2] automatically captures weighbridge transaction mass from weighbridge,
calculates gross nett and tare mass, adds and subtracts commodities weighed in and out and gives live and
detailed information about commodities on site and dispatched to customers via weighbridge or vessels.
⬧ Zambia [Kansanshi Mining/DRA Mining/Eritrea Bisha Mining]: Managed the installation of weighbridges and
developed unique software applications to manage weighbridge mass and vehicle overloads.
Successfully integrated software supplying detailed reports of all transactions, ensuring trucks are not overloaded
and are in accordance with Laws pertaining to Allowed Combined Gross Mass [CGM] and Axle Maximum Load
Tolerances.
⬧ Durban Solid Waste [DSW]: Created a software package and assisted in the development of a fully automated
weighbridge.
Application supplies detailed reports on the trucks and dump masses. After each transaction the FTP Protocol is
used to transfer all transactions to the company server – including Vehicle Registration [Number Plate Recognition],
images captured from the weighbridge [IP Camera], Driver Identification Card Number and the Tare Gross and Nett
Mass of the truck.
