But what does it take to be a professional freelancer? It could mean a lot of things, but specifically, amongst other things it means: - do not post generic bids - ask for clarifications when the descriptions/requirements are not clear (assumptions based on implied meaning could be wrong) - be fair in cost estimation (do not bid too high) - be strict in time estimation (do not promise a too early delivery) - be precise in details (if your solution requires compromises, make the client aware of them) - welcome longer discussions if the situation calls for one - many more things ...
