Baking App
This is a Baking App that allows a baker to share her recipes with the world. Its allows a user to select a recipe and see video-guided steps for how to complete it. I own complete lifecycle of this app from designing to planning the steps needed to take to create a production-ready app. Unexpected and error prone input in the data is also handled. Fragments are used to create a responsive design that works on phones and tablets. This app uses: -Exoplayer to display videos. -Handles error cases in Android. -A widget to enhance your app experience. -Broadcast receiver to check for wifi connectivity and then automatically load data -Intent Service that updates the widget when user selects a favorite recipe -Leverages third-party libraries like butterknife, gson, timber, picasso. The recipe listing is gotten from a JSON file containing the recipes' instructions, ingredients, videos and images.

Hi. I am an android developer. I code in java and use Android Studio for my work. I have experience building several apps using different tools like Google Maps API, Firebase, Exoplayer etc. I am a self learner, highly structured and driven by challenges.
