My name is Véronique, and I am a Web developer for GEREQ, a clinical research data management company located in Québec, Canada. I do web programming for various personal sites as well. I am a pro of PHP and SQL, though I have various other skills as well.
I am interested in participating in small to medium coding projects on RAC to strengthen and practice my skills on various problems while being able to help customers. Since I am still an intermediate (over 3 years of official work experience), I also wish to accumulate more experience and references. I have done a lot of freelance work before, for friends or otherwise, and so RAC is a perfect opportunity for someone like me. Furthermore, my efforts were always appreciated, and I intend to keep it that way by offering quality material.
I have done work on several more websites, but in accordance to the RAC agreement I must withhold the URLs. If you wish to see them (one is a huge interactive music database/encyclopedia built in PHP/MySQL), feel free to ask me after we will have established contact through RAC.

I am part of a team of developers working on an electronic data management platform for clinical research. Basically, the platform allows us to setup clinical studies for academic and private clients, who can manage the data for their research (patients, supplies, reports, randomisation, statistics, etc). The platform runs on PHP and Oracle on Linux SuSe. I usually implement new functionalities developed by our conception team or I fix bugs or issues discovered by our quality/validation team. |
